Reminiscence of Vernon- Taken from he 1902 Vernon Banner, this 8 1/2" by 11" book with index recounts the early stories of Vernon.  Many are believed to be the work of Caraline Pobody Frost whose husband was publisher during the 1840s of the Vernon newspaper.  Also included are many items from the year 1902.

Various Licenses for Jennings County- This book contains the Physician Registers 1880-1950; Junk Dealers Licenses 1905-1958; Poultry Dealers Licenses 1917-1947; Hunter's Licenses, which includes the registering party's name, address, age, weight, height, eye color, hair color, and complexion.

Indictment Records Sept. 1871-Mar. 1878- This book lists the Grad Jury indictments giving the name of the person charged, the crime they were charged with and the witnesses.  The outcome of the proceedings is not listed.  Many indictments are for illegal sale of intoxication liquors, so there are numerous mentions of persons who are "under the age of 21".  Charges range from Desecrating the Sabbath to Murder.
